Upgrade DataSync

Upgrading DataSync ensures that you benefit from the latest features, performance improvements, and security updates. Follow the steps below to upgrade your existing DataSync installation to the most recent version.

Steps​

  1. Run the Nectari DataSync.exe or SEI DataSync.exe and click Next.
  2. In the License Agreement screen, select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.
  3. Continue clicking Next until you reach the Identity Server SQL Database screen.
  4. In the Password field, enter the password for your database server administrator, then click Next.
  5. When you reach the SMTP Server Settings screen:
    • If you previously selected Yes for Use TLS/SSL, re-enter the SMTP username and password.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  6. Click Install to begin the upgrade.
  7. Once installation is complete, click Finish.
