Excel Add-in with Sage XRT Advanced
The Excel Add-in allows you to access, analyze, and refresh Sage XRT Advanced data directly from within Excel using the Nectari reporting platform. Configuring the add-in with the Sage XRT Advanced template lets you connect to the correct data models, environments, and workbooks, enabling smooth reporting and interactive data analysis within Excel.

Before you start, ensure you have:
- Nectari Excel Add-in: A supported version installed.

Log in to Nectari Excel Add-in
- Go to
Packages\Templates\Templates - Official\20XX Release X\Sage XRT Advanced\Excel Add-In. - Open the
FRA - Balances V8Excel file. The Login dialog appears. - (Optional) Enter your domain name if required.
- Select your Language using the dropdown list in the top corner.
- Enter your username for a valid Nectari profile.
- Enter your password.
- (Optional) Select Keep me signed in to remain connected after closing Excel.
- Click Login.
Map environments and data models
Repeat the following steps for each of the following Excel files:

Map environments in Excel
Map a data model from one Central Point to a data model in another Central Point environment.
- Click the Add-ins tab and select Environment Configurations.
- In the Workbook's Configuration section (left), select the environment you want to map.
- In the Available environments section (right), select the environment to map to.
- Click Save and confirm when prompted.
- Click Close when done.
Map data models
Map a data model from one Central Point to a data model in another Central Point environment.
- In the Add-ins tab, click Environment Configurations.
- In the Workbook's Configuration section (left), select the data model you want to map.
- In the Available data models section (right), select the matching data model to link.
Data models already mapped display as selected. - Click Save and confirm when prompted.
- Click Close when done.
