You can often use a similar backup plan as your main data source, but always consult a technical specialist to tailor the approach to your specific environment.

Nectari’s Central Point consists of two critical elements:

• The Shared Folder
• The Nectari Database

Always back up both the Shared Folder and the Nectari Database at the same time to ensure a consistent restore point.

Regularly back up your Nectari Data Warehouse database, especially if:

• The main data source database is too large for quick recovery or rebuilding
• Nectari Cubes retain historical data from external systems
