Sales Orders

The data model includes measures such as late deliveries, on-time deliveries, quantities shipped, ordered, back-ordered, and not shipped, order amounts, discounts, taxes, and profit margins with associated geographic coordinates. Views provide insights on top customers by order amount, quantity, and profit margin, expected delivery dates, back orders, sales orders, and a worksheet view for in-depth analysis and decision-making in sales operations and inventory management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)​

  • Late Delivery 1 to 5 Days: Number of orders that were delivered late between 1 to 5 days.
  • Late Delivery 6 to 10 Days: Number of orders that were delivered late between 6 to 10 days.
  • Late Delivery 11 to 15 Days: Number of orders that were delivered late between 11 to 15 days.
  • Late Delivery 15+ Days: Number of orders that were delivered late in 15 or more days.
  • On Time Delivery 1 to 5 Days: Number of orders that were delivered on time between 1 to 5 days.
  • On Time Delivery 6 to 10 Days: Number of orders that were delivered on time between 6 to 10 days.
  • On Time Delivery 11 to 15 Days: Number of orders that were delivered on time between 11 to 15 days.
  • On Time Delivery 15+ Days: Number of orders that were delivered on time in 15 or more days.
  • Latitude: Geographic coordinate that specifies the north-south position.
  • Longitude: Geographic coordinate that specifies the east-west position.
  • Quantity Shipped: Amount of products shipped in an order.
  • Quantity Back Ordered: Amount of products that are out of stock and are waiting to be shipped.
  • Quantity Ordered: Total amount of products ordered in an order.
  • Quantity Order not ship: Amount of products in an order that have not been shipped.
  • Order Ext Amoint: Extended amount of an order which includes the total price before discounts or taxes.
  • Order Line Discount: Discount amount applied to each line item in the order.
  • Order Total Discount: Total discount amount applied to the order.
  • Order Amount: Total amount of the order including discounts but excluding tax and freight.
  • Order Tax Amount: Tax amount applied to the order.
  • Order Freight: Freight charges for shipping the order.
  • Order Total: Total amount of the order including tax and freight charges.
  • Order Cost: Total cost incurred to fulfill the order.
  • Profit Margin: Difference between the revenue generated from the order and the total cost.
  • Profit Margin %: Percentage of profit margin calculated as (Profit Margin / Order Total) * 100.
