Domains
The Domains feature lets you connect Nectari to your organization’s Active Directory, LDAP or LDAPS domains for user authentication and group management. By adding domains and corresponding organizational units (OUs), you can control which users and groups have access to Nectari, ensure proper authentication, and simplify user provisioning and permissions management.
This feature is essential if your organization manages users centrally through Active Directory or another LDAP-compatible directory service. It enables seamless integration with corporate security policies, allowing users to log in to Nectari with their domain credentials. Use the Domains management options to add new domains, specify organizational units, enable secure LDAPS connections, and configure authentication settings for your Nectari users.
In the list of the Domains window, the SSL/TLS column helps you quickly identify domains that use LDAPS protocol (when set to Yes).
- This feature is not available in Cloud mode.
- If you are upgrading from a version earlier than 9, organizational units (OUs) you configured previously will not be transferred automatically. You must add these manually as described below.
