Mobile Interface

Access Nectari directly from your mobile device with an interface tailored specifically for small screens. The mobile experience lets you to quickly explore views, analyze dashboards, and analyze reports on the go. Stay connected to your business data—anytime, anywhere.

The Data Model Designer and Administration are not available in mobile mode.

Connect to the mobile interface

To access Nectari on your mobile device:

  1. Open your device’s browser.
  2. Enter the URL for your Nectari web interface.
  3. Log in using your credentials.
    The layout automatically adjusts for optimal mobile usability.

The home page is your main starting point on mobile. Tap any of the main cards—Data Models and Views, Dashboards, Reports, Workbooks, or Favorites—to open and interact with your content.

Use the icons in the top-right corner to open additional menus:

Access the e-Learning portal for product training and resources.
View release updates, read blog posts, and submit feature requests.
  • Environments – View or switch the active data source.
  • User Settings – Manage your personal preferences.
  • Logout – Sign out of your account.
  • Online Help – Open the documentation site for Nectari.
  • About – View version details, Central Point, and licensing info.

Interact with content

Use mobile-friendly actions to filter, share, subscribe, and save content as needed. Always refresh your data to ensure you're viewing the most current information.

To improve performance or test layouts, use Sample Mode to load a subset of the data.

You can interact with dashboards, reports, views, and workbooks, but editing and designing dashboards is only available in the web interface.

Reduce and expand visualizations

Tap the expand icon in the top-right corner of a visualization to switch between full-screen and standard modes.

  • In full-screen mode, you get more space for analysis.
  • In reduced mode, a gear icon appears for accessing more options.

Access settings

When a visualization is reduced, tap the gear icon to open the settings menu. Available options depend on the content type and your permissions.

Open in Sample ModeLoad a sample dataset instead of full data.
RenameChange the name of the view, dashboard, report, or workbook.
Add to FavoritesMark it as a favorite for quick access.
DeleteDelete the view, dashboard, report, or workbook.
PropertiesModify the name, permissions, and opening options.
SubscribeSet up email or notification subscriptions.
Set as Landing PageMake this visualization the default page after login.
Manage DocumentationAttach or update supporting documentation.
